GlobeCorp Ltd. is a federal Canadian Corporation with its head office located in Rockland, Ontario, and the main business office located in Ottawa.
Founded by retired Fire Chief Brian Wilson, GlobeCorp Ltd. was founded in order to meet the growing needs of good, high-quality medical training for area firefighters. Chief Wilson (ret'd) worked for 6 different fire departments, in 3 provinces, starting as an unpaid auxilillary firefighter in Lake Louise, Alberta in the 1990s. Over a career of 20+ years, Chief Wilson progressed through the ranks and worked in all types of departments including volunteer, composite, and fully career departments before retiring in 2020 to focus on spending more time with his wife and kids.
During his career, Chief Wilson noticed that many fire departments were struggling to adequately train their firefighters to meet the needs faced when responding to medical calls. Partnering with the Canadian Red Cross, Chief Wilson was instrumental in developing one of the most progressive medical response programs in the Ontario fire service, the results of which are still being experienced today with faster response times and better patient outcomes.
Chief Wilson hand picks GlobeCorp's instructors and EMR staff to ensure that GlobeCorp personnel are some of the best in the Canadian Fire Service. These dedicated women and men not only have years of experience in providing emergency medical care, but are skilled communicators, instructors, and firefighters, who can bring enthusiasm and dedication to our courses.
